Whew! OK, I just finished toying around with this new template to see if I’d even like it. I’m wondering though if there are problems such as the side-bar not loading (or very slow), the background image in the main part of the blog not loading or very slow to load, etc. So if you guys wouldn’t mind letting me know things your are seeing or experiencing problem-wise (especially with how the old template was), please let me know by clicking the “COMMENTS” link at the bottom of this post. Include your browser type if you don’t mind.
Thanks in advance!

Update 1: I got the NavBar to re-appear in IE. Now it works in both IE and Firefox.
Update 2: Another couple of minor code tweaks. Looks like the right side is a tad slower than the left, but I don’t know how bad that will be for folks not on really fast connections, especially dial-up.
Update 3: I’ve done another tweak to improve load times for the right side (which is more important on slow-speed connectors) but can’t completely eliminate the tiny lag there. Still, it doesn’t seem too bad on regular, high-speed connections.
Update 4: I’m still trying to figure out how to tweak it so the images properly wrap. I’d never done anything with XML until this upgrade so I’m not entirely sure where the problem is coming from.

It’s pretty. Although, most of the time I use a feedreader anyway.
It looks really good. I went through several of your links and I do see that the bottom background image and then the right column are slightly delayed with the T1 connection I have. Its nothing bad though. I’m using IE too since you wanted to know.
i like the old one better.
The lighter green behind the text area doesn’t have enough contrast between it and the text. It’s a bit of a strain to read, especially on the sides where the text isn’t white. Otherwise, it looks good
It looks like your images don’t wrap text if the image stretches beyond a paragraph.
Looks pretty.
